We have a long history of accountancy excellence as Pomfrey Accountants dating back to 1989. We are now part of the PMC Partnership group of companies, working across Kent, Surrey and Bexley to provide a complete accountancy service.
A HISTORY OF POMFREY ACCOUNTANTS
The history of our practice dates back to 1989, when we began providing basic bookkeeping and accountancy services to local businesses in Bexley. We have always been proud to be a Bexley business, and to help other businesses just like our own to thrive and succeed with tailored, personal accountancy services.
Our founders realised there was a gap in the market for a personalised, proactive accountancy service to help small businesses in the area. They were passionate about providing this service from the start. Knowing they were in a unique position to help small, local businesses succeed, they set up an accountancy practice in their converted garage. Pomfrey Accountants came to life.
As the business began to grow, we needed more space for our employees and to meet with our clients and provide the face-to-face service that is so important to us. We expanded locally, renting Unit 42 of the Coach House at St Mary’s Business Centre. In 2009, we began renting Unit 41 as well and our business is still based here to this day. We are delighted to have been able to grow in size and capacity whilst still staying true to our roots as a local Bexley business.
